Kur Moutains is a massive, bitter cold mountainous region.
An interesting mechanic in this zone, is that the player character takes damage over time due to the freezing temperatures. The in game notification advises the player to look for regeneration through equipment and skills in order to survive the harsh environment. Failure to take the advice may lead to death by exposure to freezing temperatures.
Points of Interest
Campfires
One campfire on the south side of the crevasse features a Smoldering Fire. If you light it with 1 piece of oak wood, it will burn for 10 minutes during which you are relieved of the Biting Cold effect. This could be a good spot to hunt around if you can barely survive there (perhaps it was also intended as a way to cure Hypothermia, needs testing).
Abandoned Barn
A barn (same model as Serbule's farm) which houses another Smoldering Fire. A Teleportation Circle is nearby.
Northern Outpost
A very tiny community lives there: Ukorga, Laura, Landri and Gurki.
Statehelm Mint
Head north, down the cliff to the ocean, then follow the cliff east (to be confirmed).
Orc Camps
There is a small orc camp to the west, and a large one to the north. There is a Smoldering Fire that can be lit in the west camp.
