Civic Pride

“Represents your willingness to tackle the small, mundane tasks in your community, and your understanding of why that's important. This skill is especially valued by humans.
Civic Pride is a new skill added as of the August 15th, 2015 patch. It rewards you with small bumps to npc favor, training costs, vendor prices and max map pins.
Current methods of leveling include:
- Lighting the Oil Lamps in Serbule Keep at night and/or snuffing them in the morning.
- - Rewards 20 Civic Pride experience if the Oil Lamp is lit after 7pm and snuffed after 5am Hint.
- Refilling the Oil Lamps with oil.
- - Rewards 20 down to 1 Civic Pride experience per refuel as you level up.
- Lighting Torches in Eltibule Keep and/or Hogan's Keep at night and/or snuffing them in the morning.
- - Rewards 10 Civic Pride experience if the Torch is lit after 7pm and snuffed after 5am Hint.
- Adding Wood Chips such as Oak Wood Chips to Torches in Eltibule Keep and/or Hogan's Keep.
- - Rewards 2 Civic Pride experience per refuel
- Using a trash can in Red Wing Casino to dispose of trash.
- - Rewards Civic Pride according to this: (saleValue * amountDisposed) / 200 = CivicPrideExp. Note that in order to actually receive Civic Pride you must dispose at least 2 items for a total of 200 councils or more as the formula rounds down to zero otherwise. It is best to always hand in 1 extra item in cases of more than 1 Civic Pride Experience to ensure it does not round down the last 200 Sale Value.
- - Example: 40 Potato Seedlings. (5 * 40) / 200 = 1 Civic Pride. Since you have disposed of more than 2 Potatoes, have hit the 200 councils minimum sale value you are rewarded with 1 Civic Pride from 40 Potato Seedlings.
Lamp Oil can be puchased from Fainor in the Serbule Inn and other cooking vendors.
Wood Chips are crafted through Carpentry.
