Fetish bags are used to commune with the dead through the Corpse Talking skill.
A Corpse Talker may be able to listen to the thoughts, memories, and knowledge of the buried soul. Depending on your experience, you have a chance of learning about the life of the deceased (gaining experience in a random skill), obtaining a boon (handed an item), or learning forgotten knowledge (learning skills like Gender Studies and Demon Anatomy).
