Dye Making

Dye Making is the skill in producing dye. These dyes can be used to color armor. This skill covers only the creation of the dye; A crafting profession like Textile Creation, Tanning, or Blacksmithing is used to apply the dye, depending on what the armor is made of. The skill starts automatically at level 1 once you purchase a dye. You can see see some Examples of Dyed Armor here.

Many of the Dye recipes are dependent on either flowers or on Gems. Flowers can be gotten by Foraging for flowerseeds and growing then in Gardening to flowers.
Gems can be obtained by making maps through Surveying and Geology and then locating the Gem-nodes while travelling through the area's and clicking the maps.
