March 8 Hotfix

Some fixes to last night's update.

South Serbule

- fixed up spawn locations. A section of the map did not have its random wildlife spawns and was just empty. In the quadrant where goblins should spawn, only wild animals were spawning. Now goblins (wimpy ones) now spawn in that far corner of the map, near the road to Sedgewick Forest. (Which isn't in game yet, so it's just a road to nowhere right now.)
- Jaime Fatholm (the surveying NPC) now has favor-quests to help raise her favor
- Lana Songtree (the waitress) no longer has errors in her script. (She also has no favor rewards, because she's not written yet, but at least she doesn't crash.)
- South Serbule mining recipes required you to be in Serbule to create them, and thus could not be completed

Ilmari Desert

- Improved Manticore loot drops a little. There's more junk in their loot table but you get more loot per manticore.
- Increased density of spawns in Ilmari Desert
- The quadrant of the Ilmari Desert with literally nothing in it was supposed to have giant scorpions in it. It does now! They are not elites, but they are still very tough bastards.

Rahu

- Kohan and Ufkar had swapped recipes. They have been reversed so that the recipes are map up to what they talk about. (Kohan has dispensers, Ufkar has rafflers.) Apologies for any problems this caused!
- Kohan no longer trains Calligraphy -- that's what Ufkar trains. Kohan has sigil scripting, as his text indicates
- Lady Windsong did not show her Favor Level
- Nishika did not spawn. (She spawns in a large empty building that will eventually be a restaurant. Lakrea and Furlak are her current customers... which means they are standing in that same empty building.)
- Daniel Murderdark no longer sells treasure cartography recipes -- those are sold by the Sand Seer in Amulna
- Added Ichin the Ice Master to town. He will eventually be the Ice Magic trainer, but Ice Magic isn't ready yet. I added him early because he's also a vendor and has some general-storage slots available at Friends favor
- Fixed bug in holistic wellness quests that required you to be bitten by 9 different dinosaurs (or ungulates) but actually counted any monster
- Various NPCs let you access your stables at various favor levels. This was a weird copy/paste bug and has been removed. However, there really should be a stablemaster in Rahu. For now, the dock manager Sheyna can give you stable access without any favor requirements

Treasure

- "Poison Arrow makes target's attacks deal -6 damage" was actually making target's attacks do -600% damage
- "Flesh to Fuel has a 0% chance to restore X Power" -> now a 66% chance

Other

- Indirect damage could reduce your regeneration by more than the amount you would have regenerated, causing you to take damage. This could result in death by "Anti-Regeneration." This is fixed. (The intended behavior is that indirect damage reduces regeneration, but not below zero.)
- Guild Rosters were not able to display correctly if anyone had been offline for more than two months
- Monster aggro - monsters were not correctly determining a target immediately if they were hit with a ranged weapon; they would stand there for 5 seconds before realizing they were hurt
- Monster aggro - monsters would immediately recalculate aggro whenever a new player got within range of them
- Calligraphy "Resilience" was debuffing you instead of buffing you
- Fixed an exploit where you could put down items from a collection quest and the quest system wouldn't notice they were gone, allowing you to complete the quest without losing the items
- Fixed multiple errors in the tips that tell you who to go for level cap increases. Many were just displayed as "??", and others told you to go to the wrong NPC.
- Transmutation: fixed a bug that could still cause items to be downgraded repeatedly. Sorry about that. This downgrade isn't permanent, so now that the bug is fixed you should be able to re-transmute the effect and it will bounce back up to around the original level. (If the item was looted/crafted after mid-February, it will use the exact level it had when created; if the item was made before mid-February, it will have an approximation of the level which may be off by a bit, but will usually be correct.)
By the way, we only noticed the transmutation bug because Sandra happened to be looking at chat. We do not normally read chat 24/7. If there's something that seems like a bug, please report it. This bug almost got left in for another week, even though several people were complaining about it. It makes no sense to complain about bugs that you haven't even reported. Please report bugs. There is no QA department, so unreported bugs just will never get fixed. There aren't many players, so if you're wondering whether a bug has been reported yet... it hasn't. Please report bugs. Please report bugs. Please report bugs.
Please report bugs!
Thx!
