Hunting Quests are a mechanic first introduced in March of 2016. Sometimes, an Adventurer will encounter a creature with a silver crown glowing over its head. Defeating this creature will grant the Adventurer a quest. Upon completion, the player receives experience points in their two active combat skills, plus xp in the related anatomy type. In addition, if the player uses First Aid and/or Armor Patching while completing the final (usually tenth) kill of a hunting quest, the combat xp from completing the quest will be awarded for those skills as well.

Serbule Hills Hunting Quests

• Hunting: Black Widow Spiders This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Black Widow Spiders, which are are common across Serbule Hills.
  + Black Widow Spiders are found throughout the entire region, except for directly around the Ranalon-controlled lakes.
  • Kill Spiders x10
• Hunting: Deer

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Deer in Serbule Hills.
  + Buck Deer, Doe Deer, and the rarer Rabid Deer can be found in the region, usually on hillsides.

  • Kill Deer x10
• Hunting: Fire Sheep

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Fire Sheep, which are are a rare spawn in Serbule Hills.
  + Fire Sheep are found predominately on hillsides and at the top of hills. The western edge of the region is a common place to find them, as are the hills in the southwest.

  • Kill Fire Sheep x5
• Hunting: Goblins

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Goblins, which are are part of an invasion force encountered at encampments throughout the eastern half of Serbule Hills.
  + Commonly encountered Goblins include: Camp Overseer, Competent Goblin, Goblin Archer, Goblin Archery Student, Goblin Guard, Goblin Lumberjack, Goblin Patrol, Goblin Scribe, Goblin Soldier, Goblin Spear Trainee, Goblin Spearman, Logging Camp Guard.

  • Kill Goblins in Serbule Hills x10
• Hunting: Guard Scrays

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Guard Scrays, which are Ranalon-bred pets found throughout their encampments in Serbule Hills.
  + Guard Scrays are found on the shores of the two Ranalon-controlled lakes, although occasionally a few may fly further north.

  • Kill Guard Scrays x8
• Hunting: Pigs

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Pigs, which are are common near farmland inSerbule Hills.
  + Pigs are found primarily in the northern hills and western hills. Sometimes, pigs will be found near patches of farmland.

  • Kill Pigs x10
• Hunting: Ranalon Gardeners

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Ranalon Gardeners, a frequently encountered variety of Ranalon in Serbule Hills.
  + Ranalon Gardeners are found both underwater in the two lakes, and on the beaches around them.

  • Kill Ranalon Gardeners x10
• Hunting: Ranalon Stone Shapers

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Ranalon Stone-Shapers, which are part o the hostile Ranalon invasion of Serbule Hills.
  + Ranalon Stone-Shapers are found among the hills surrounding the two lakes.

  • Kill Ranalon Stoneshapers x6
• Hunting: Rats

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Rats, which are a common species encountered throughout Serbule Hills and the rest of Alharth.
  + Giant Plains Rats are found throughout the entire region, especially in the northwest.

  • Kill Rats x10
• Hunting: Sheep

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Valley Sheep, unexpectedly dangerous denizens of Serbule Hills.
  + Valley Sheep are found throughout the entire region, and can easily be found everywhere without extensive tree cover.

  • Kill Sheep x10
• Hunting: Tigers

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Tigers, which are are common across Serbule Hills.
  + Tigers and Sickly Tigers are found in both the northern hills of the region and the eastern forestland.

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Wild Chickens, found around farmland in Serbule Hills.
  + Wild Chicken are found predominantly near the farmlands and buildings in the northwest.

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Worgs, which are are usually uncommon, but often seen in the southern hills of Serbule Hills.
  + Worgs are found primarily in the hills south of the two lakes, but can be occasionally seen in the northeast.

• Hunting: Cunning Wolves This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Cunning Wolves, which are are common foes in Eltibule.
  + Cunning Wolves are often encountered around the small lakes towards the center of the region, and in the eastern hills.
  • Kill Cunning Wolves x10
• Hunting: Eltibule Bears

  This Hunting Quest calls for the elimination of Bears, which are easily encountered in part of Eltibule.
  + Bear Groupies are found only in the northeast, on a small hill surrounding the Animal Handling Cat Shrine.
