Bosses are a category of enemy NPCs which are identifiable by their unique names. Bosses are usually stronger than the other creatures in their area, have the potential to spread Curses, and often drop unique loot.

First Kill Mechanic

Bosses generally use a First Kill mechanic which impacts the loot they drop. When you defeat a boss, a personal three-hour timer starts to count down. If the same boss is defeated again during those three hours the timer will not extend, but the quality and quantity of loot received is decreased. Many Bosses have specific items they can only drop during their First Kill, and not during repeated kills until their timer resets.

First Kill Details

If an item is listed in the First Kill Loot column, that item can only drop during a First Kill. Items listed are not guaranteed to appear, although some are guaranteed.
