“Hmm... no, I don't think I can. I just don't think you'd understand enough of what I said! No offense meant, friend. Why don't you practice bangin' out dents in armor first?

Blacksmithing Overview
Blacksmithing is a crafting skill often confused with Armorsmithing. Blacksmiths do not create armor, but can improve the protective capabilities of armor. Many Blacksmiths create items that can be used in Carpentry, Toolcrafting, Cheesemaking, and other skills.
In-Game Description
Making and enhancing metal equipment. Blacksmiths don't create armor directly, but they can buttress metal armor's effectiveness. They also create metal parts for many other skills.
